Happy 4th July everyone.. Unless you have been on the international space station or back packing in the deepest recesses of the Rain Forest recently you will probably be aware that the team are doing some work around the nuisance caused by a very small element of people who seem to want to leave most of their tyres on Majuba Car Park. I vistited there last night and spoke to a number of young people who all seem very supportive and understand why we need to be involved all that is except a gentleman in a Renault Clio V6 who know has a very good understanding of Police Powers and Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002. A male was arrested in the town yesterday afternoon for theft he enjoyed our hospitality overnight and will be attending court this morning. PC Spenceley is sorting out the final details of the cycle safety events at local schools which will start Friday 5th July. We have been made aware of a potential scam involving a group of foreign males who try to get staff to exchange large amounts of cash for different notes, they attended Tesco yesterday and it is believed they were in a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra.
