Happy Back to School Facebook! (That is unless youre not in a private school in British Columbia Canada. I swear world war three is going to start here. Teachers have not received a pay check since May, mortgages are not being paid and their bank accounts have run dry, theyre being forced into poverty by their union. The unions demands for higher wages and benefits are simply unrealistic. Maybe something positive will come out of this labour dispute, now that teachers and their families will live the lives that most of the children attending their classrooms live, day in, day out. It makes you reflect on how you could have better managed your wages, been there done that. Think about how your students have had to live as thinks get tougher for you, for Heavens sake, please.)
