Happy Birthday to our beautiful daughter, Ashley McGahey, who made such an exciting arrival. About this time I was probably being care flighted to a hospital that could better care for a wee lil one that decided to make her entrance 7 weeks early. She was 4lbs 2-1/3oz, 19 long, such a tiny baby. I remember it like it was yesterday. I had been 16 for only a month when God brought my tiny miracle to meet me & our family. God blessed me with a baby that would be my guiding light for years. When I lost hope, wanted to give up, was so tired I didnt think I cld go any more this precious baby would smile & my strength & hope renewed. When I was 17 she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and was terrified. Through countless surgerys & hours & hours if physical therapy my precious baby girl showed me what it meant to be a fighter and succeed! They said she would never walk boy did she prove them wrong. Everything she endured she did it with a beautiful smile & the most amazing attitude I had ever seen. Instead of me getting her thru I will always believe it was her getting me thru. No matter the pain no matter the aches no matter hard hard work she kept moving forward showing us all miracles as she did, proving many doctors wrong with each success they said she wld never have. My beautiful daughter keep moving thru life with Gods grace & the same beautiful smile & can do attitude & you will continue to succeed at all you set out to do. Always remember you proved to many miracles do happen people can beat the odds & you deserve every happiness & joy God brings into your life. Thank you for all the many lessons you have taught me as we were growing up. You are an inspiration to many. I love you & happy birthday, I pray it brings many blessings your way!
