Happy CNA week to all the amazing CNAs I have had the honor to work with- more than once they have steered me straight. I was a CNA before I ever went to RN school, my daughter is an outstanding CNA in MA. CNAs are bit, kicked, spit upon, strangled and lied about but they are the first to sit with a dying patient/resident to hold their hand, pray with and cry with the family when their loved one has past. If you see a CNA today say "Hi" and "Thank You" - you never know when you may need their smiling face and helpful hand. Thank you from a grateful heart.
