Happy Fat Tuesday guys. Remember that tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the 40 days of Lent. It is a wonderful time to better yourselves spiritually & mentally as we remember Christ fasting in the wilderness. Oh yeah... No meat on Friday. Why? Because we dont consume flesh on the day (Friday) our Lord gave up his Flesh for OUR Sins. Its an honor thing... On a bigger much scale! I myself will be giving up Facebook, all Web Surfing, & Dr. Pepper. Why? Seems pretty meaningless? God doesnt care if I FB & drink DP. But, here is the part that REALLY MATTERS. Every time I think of indulging... Im going to STOP, DROP, & PRAY! Pray for the less fortunate, the sick, our world to be healed of prejudice & violence.
