Happy Fathers Day to All my Facebook Friends Fathers! Happy Birthday and Happy Fathers Day to MY Dad Frank who we miss so much. He was our hero every day of our lives besides being a great dad. He was always there sharing his medical knowledge, advice from his success in operating his businesses as well as helping in our daily lives. My three daughters are thankful for the education fund he established for each of them when they were born. I miss mostly the weekly trips Bonnie and I made from Windsor to London to take my dad on his weekly shopping trip and driving him around London for his errands followed by lunch and dinners with him. He was an ambassador for veterans and we would stop at the hospitals so he could drop in to visit I Think of you and Mom so many times each day. Ben, Stan and I reminisce about all the family gatherings you had on so many occasions. We remember all the friends you both helped by providing food and shelter for all our relatives and friends who came to Canada from England and Poland. You both showed us so much love no matter how much trouble Ben, Stan and I would get into. After the phone call from the OPP, you drove to Londons Victoria Hospital at 5 a.m.to be with me while my friends Butch Sworik, Bob Mckay & I got stitched up after we were jumped by eight members of a major hockey team in Port Stanley. Some of them actually apologized to us while they were waiting to have some of their bones reset and cuts stitched up. We blamed it on too much partying and bravado. We all became close friends and some of them dropped in to my dads for a visit from time to time. You told me how proud you were of my athletic achievements when you came to our Toronto Argonauts training camp and visited with our coach Nobby Wirkowski who loved to talk about his Polish heritage. . It has been seven years since you left us to join Mom, your grandsons Bryan, Ricky and Frankie, your ten brothers and sisters as well as all our friends who have left this earth before us. . Some of the pictures of my Dad and Mom from their days in The Polish Division of The British Eighth Army after they captured Monte Cassino to bring an end to the war in Italy. My Mom and Dad in the middle of the first pictures with my uncles and cousins.
