Happy Friday everyone. And sorry this post is late in the afternoon but heard this song on the radio and it brought back some melancholy memories of what the song represents. The composer of this song wrote this to honor the memory of his father who was a schizophrenic and was declared missing after 2 weeks when his fathers car was recovered but not the body,his father had many debits,and affairs, and loved his wife but couldnt keep it together so the line, If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says she loves me was a line from his fathers many letters to his ex-wife. So sorry to be morbid on this note but thats what Ive been feeling this week. Ehh. So enjoy from the Album Lemon Parade- which I asked for a cassette tape copy ,way back in the 90s,and received a week later after a family member passed on,only this week to download the digital copy on my iPad -TONIC with their only number one hit, If you could only see.
