Happy Friday everyone! Want to share some event announcements. Tomorrow the Riverslea Spinners will be doing a fiber demonstration at the Seacoast Eat Local farmers market at Wentworth Greenhouse. 10-2. We will be demonstrating many different types of fiber arts and there will be plenty of chances for folks to try out needle felting, knitting, weaving and drop spinning. So dont let that pesky forecast worry you, come join us in the lovely greenhouses and lets get wooly! seacoasteatlocal.org Saturday, January 31st, come have a blast at the annual Winter Fuzz Fest! Its a great opportunity to connect with your local fiber vendors and freshen up your stash. And saving the best for the very last, we have our 2015 shearing date booked!! Oh boy, its time for fleeces! The wool will be coming off Feb 14th. Guests are welcome and will almost certainly be put to work. ^___^ We will have the skirting table, scale and bags at the ready, all unreserved fleeces will be available as they come off the sheep.
