Happy Halloween to everyone especially my brother Colbin, my sisters Ashtyn & Caitlin, Nannie & Martie, Nan & Bampie , and Amanda & Josh for taking Colbin treating and Joyce for taking Caitlin & Ashtyn treating. I was able to go Halloweenin today for awhile with all the kids on my floor. We went down to the 1st floor where all the special clinics are and got lots of treats and seen some of the people that have helped me with their awesome costumes on. Then we went to see the Physio clinic which was decorated like the Frozen movie and I got my picture taken with Anna and Elsa. Then we went for my ultrasound on my neck and spine. After that, we went up to the 3rd floor to the Ronald McDonald House where they were having a party and I got my picture taken with Daisy, Donald Duck, Cookie Monster, and Elmo. I also got to see Buddington the IWK clown as well. I had fun, now Im tired. I hope you all had fun too. UPDATE: Mikaelas MIBG scan results came back and it was clear, I was so excited I hugged the doctor and was crying with joy. The doctor stated that theyre still waiting on the Neuroblastoma urine sample to come back but they are hoping to have it back next week as they put a rush on it. Mikaela is going to have a heart echo on Monday. Mikaela started to drink more and nibble on food Friday morning which will delay the possibility of her feeding tube being put back in. The Neuro Surgeon stated they will be monitoring her condition (headaches, mobility, etc) over the weekend and into next week looking for improvement and their thoughts are another MRI in a month to check the size of the hemorage. At this time, they have no tentative date for her going home. Thank you for all of your comments, we love reading them, and thank you for your prayers. Also, thanks to the wonderful people that are dropping off cards and gifts at home and here at the IWK, it puts a smile on Mikaelas face and warms our hearts. Love Mikaela and her family.
