Happy Happy Tuesday!! Day after surgery. YAY!!!! Got there about 6:30 am with my wonderful grandson Elias as my #1 cheerleader. Was a long day but got thru it all and headed home about 5pm. John and Vicki were there to help about noon. Had 2 procedures. First was to insert a wire to mark the exact spot and then inject isotopes into the nodes under the arm for extraction during the Lumpectomy. All went well, Have only taken 1 pain pill just before bed and keeping the ice pack on for 3 days. See my surgeon next Monday and start radiation treatments. So glad to be at this point and looking ahead down the road to recovery. Thank you everyone for all of the love and concern that have been sent my way. I could feel it and have appreciated every ounce of it. Sending much love back!!
