Happy Hump Day everyone! Im glad so many of you liked my last wonderful Wednesday post. Thanks so much for the support. Im a complete Facebook posting novice so your kind words mean a lot. Righto - I have TWO special mentions this week. On Saturday we were taken aback to receive a yummy box of scorched almonds from Natasha, Aidens mum in celebration of him achieving one of our harder swimming awards - Angelfish 2. Several years ago Aiden had started with us as a complete beginner, Natasha thought he wouldnt last two weeks as it did take a bit of coaxing to get him in the pool but that didnt stop us! With the support and commitment of his wonderful parents over the past years Aiden is now swimming all four strokes over long distances and most importantly can swim to survive! Keep up the great work Aiden! I have to shout out loud about another success for Madelyn, the little girl I mentioned last week. The shower seems like nothing in comparison to this big jump she did into our DEEP END all by herself (check out the video). Remember this is the girl who wouldnt wet her face and would get very upset in the pool. Congrats Madelyn! I wonder what she will accomplish this week?
