Happy Independence Day! We will be closed today for the holiday but will be open again tomorrow at 9am. Although this time of year is filled with family and fun, your poor phone may not have such a good time. In the case your phone happens to meet some misfortune in the form of liquid, here are a few tips that may help save that trusty lifeline of yours! 1. Pull the battery out immediately and do NOT put it back in! Electricity and water do not go hand in hand. 2. Dry your phone off with a dry cloth or towel. 3. If you have a shop-vac use the hose to try and pull as much water from your device as possible. 4. Leaving your phone apart, (battery still removed) place it and the battery in a sealed bag or container full of (dry) rice. 5. Let it sit for 48 - 72 hours depending on how badly it was water logged. 6. Do NOT put your phone in a microwave, oven, use a hair dryer(with any heat), or anything that emits heat. Heat is the killer of electrical devices from your phone to your TV. We have loaner devices in stock to help you by till your phone dries out. Hope this helps!
