Happy Labour Day friends ! If you plan on any shopping today please think of how important the union movement has been. In a world without them, underage and female labourers in the garment district of New York suffered deplorable conditions and many died in the Triangle Fire. This should have been a time when we export the idea of organized labour to the developing world, instead of allowing corporations to erode worker safety and well being standards. Supporting union shops by directing your spending there please !
