Happy New Year To All of You Great People. Today I was - TopicsExpress

Happy New Year To All of You Great People. Today I was listening to the radio today, they were talking about dress codes at some places. Weather or not some places go to far with their dress code. I will give youll my take on it. Now we live in a tropical country, I believe for health sake we should wear more cotton clothes especially when youre finish working. Years ago the Harbour Master used to have an after work lime on Friday evenings, I really liked the limes. They gave you an opportunity to free up after a week of work. I would wear a nice short pants that would fit me to my knees not hanging off my behind, a pair of loafers sometimes a hat, I was doing that for months. I left the Island and went to England, when I came back I went to the usual Friday evening lime, when I guy to the door the guy told me I couldnt come on board in short pants, I told him ok I would go and change and come back seeing that I didnt live too far. When I turned around I saw five women walking coming towards me, all of them were wearing these shorts the guys call crutchies, these things were so short the crotch seam of the shorts had the two lips of the vulva separated, in other words you didnt have to wonder what was under there. Too many times women in this country are used as bait to get men to frequent establishments and I dont hear a word from the Women Organization about it. Women Free gents pay $20.00. I saw the guy waved the women in, I asked him I thought you told me there was a dress code, he told me only for men. I told him that was gender discrimination, I told him dont I look more presentable than those tars that just went on board, he told me he had strict orders. Well I left and went start home and wrote an article about it in the News Paper. I believe a person at the door of any establishment should be able to tell if a person is properly dress or not. I dont like ties, Barbados is too damn hot for ties and three piece suits, plus I dont trust people who were three piece suits all the time...look at the Mafia. The biggest crooks in the world wear three piece suits and ties, I dont want to be associated with them.
