Happy New Year everyone and I hope everybody had a wonderful holiday season. Well now we are only a few short months before the LWAYBSA Opening Day. The staff and myself have been busy getting ready to get the 2015 baseball and softball season underway. Here is a little preview on whats ahead. First of a registration will begin in a couple of weeks and the official announcement will be coming shortly. I will tell you when that announcement comes the LWAYBSA we will finally be joining the rest of the youth sports world by introducing our new online registration procedure as well as a new web site. I will be announcing in about a week the first general meeting for the 2015 season with date, place, and time. If you want to participate in the upcoming 2015 season in any capacity than this will be the meeting to attend. We have made a commitment to celebrate the rights of spring by not only announcing our opening day, but our new opening day format. This new format not only involves the registered boys and girls of the LWAYBSA, but can and will included any player in our region no matter with youth baseball and softball program they are registered at. Now I know I have been a little vague, but my intention is to get you to stop by our group page and check in often for clarification on these upcoming announcements. I know that the temperature in the single digits, but I assure you it will warm up, the grass will start to grow, the trees will be green again, and we will hearing the crack of the bat, and the slap of the glove, and the sound of the umpire yelling PLAY BALL:!
