Happy New Year friends and family!! Looking forward to 2015, and realizing that I have no idea how its gonna go. Anna is in the midst of waiting on all of her college admissions and financial aid and such and we are in complete limbo about where her journey will take her. Im so proud of her, and excited to find out where she will be. Pre-grieving the day she graduates and moves. Mary Elizabeth and I are working through the process of her 14 year old desire to be a separate entity from her mom, and her extreme desire to get her drivers permit in March while declaring that she will not be doing any practice driving with me. My folks will celebrate 50 years of marriage in August, and we are looking forward to a small gathering to celebrate them and their commitment to us and one another in an era when so many, including myself, will never experience this honorable milestone. Im so grateful for friends, family, a job that I love, and an amazing community to live in. Jon Comini and I are perfectly content. He is precious, and after 5 years of dating, we are in agreement that keeping families separate is in our best interest for the time being. We are still very much together, but as I get the question so often asking if we will marry- the answer is - not yet. Wishing all of you a blessed and prosperous 2015!! Always hoping that this is the year for a family reunion, and the year Ill get to see my out of town friends!!! XOXO
