Happy New Year to everyone in advance! Planning to ring in the New Year by climbing Breakneck Ridge on New Year’s Eve to catch the last sun-set of 2014 in the Hudson Highlands. Then it’s off to catch the first sun-rise of 2015 by summiting Giant Ledge and Panther Mountain. And perhaps even climbing Wittenberg Mountain afterwards. Minus 18 temperatures and an endearing sufferfest awaits us to catch the glimpse of the sun and awaken to a year of new possibilities. Has potential to be an epic backpacking trip with some really sketchy night climbing and down-hiking. We will be back in a few days!
