Happy New Years Eve Eve. Thanks for 2014 - the year we all secured the building in the service of the Arts in perpetuity (the handover happened on April 1st). Thank YOU. This year a big addition was the installation of Digital Cinema - alongside our existing facilities to project Celluloid Strips, Magnetic Tapes, Shiny Discs and Shadows, allowing a continued engagement in contemporary cinema after the mainstream decided to brand the mechanical immoderate. Course theres more too to remember along with throwing the magickal flickering images - many and varied activities, delving deep and pushing outwards, discovering and revelling in the mysterious and blatant, dancing in the cinema, projecting on the dance floor, writhing in the lounge, chuckling on the stairs . . . Right now in this idletween why not share what challenged and entranced you at Cube this year - what part you played in it - what yould like to make happen in the mid-twenty-tenties and beyond . . . the place is secured, the possibilities are endless.
