Happy Sunday to all you gorgeous mums – as you know Victorians head to the polls on Saturday November 29 to decide our next state government and I want you to know I’ve got your back! As a working single mum of a 15 month old boy called Van, I’m so fed up with the cuts to family support and government services by both the major parties, the shortage of childcare, overcrowding of schools and no part-time or job share availability for mums returning to work, that I’ve decided to run for an INDEPENDENT seat in the Victorian Southern Metro region, and campaign on the issues that matter most to MUMS. Your voice needs to be heard and no one else is talking about the issues that matter most! How can our state and federal governments improve the support and services they provide MUMS and families? What could government be doing they’re currently not? And, what are they doing wrong? I’d love to hear your ideas.
