Happy Year of the Wood Horse as todays Chinese (civilization, not country) New Years! The Year of the Water Snake over, I saw the Nagasaki Lantern Festival ends on St. Valentines Day this year though the full moon is late in the phenomenon known as izayoi no tsuki in Japanese where izayoi is written with the Sinitic number 16. So maybe the Lantern Festival would be on the fifteenth of January, or does it start the night before? Hmm, historical timekeeping, whod know about that? Hmm, yabusame Japanese mounted archery, thatll do . . . img01.kyo2.jp/usr/h/a/k/hakusasonso/%E5%B9%B3%E6%88%90%E7%94%B2%E5%8D%88%E5%B9%B4%E5%B9%B2%E6%94%AF%E8%89%B2%E7%B4%99%E3%80%8C%E7%8C%9F%E5%9B%B3%E3%80%8DS.jpg
