Happy belated Thanksgiving Day! Heres one of my eight social-media posts today to acknowledge this days passage. Americans typically celebrate this popular annual holiday by decorating homes with a harvest theme, expressing gratitude to God, spending time with family and friends, feasting together upon turkey and other traditional foods (such as stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, peas, squash and other harvest vegetables, pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce), and perhaps by watching special televised events, such as Maceys annual Thanksgiving Day parade and/or football games. So, what are your personal Thanksgiving Day traditions? How do you plan to spend this years Thanksgiving Day? What new Thanksgiving Day traditions would you like to initiate?
