Happy holidays, everybody. While celebrating this special day, lets take a moment to remember the great Shadow and pulp artist, Edd Cartier, who died on Christmas day six years ago. Heres a photo of Edd visiting Tollinwood East back in 2007. BTW, the landscape painting on the wall is by Spider cover artist, John Newton Howitt, and was given as a wedding present to Jerome and Doris Rozen. The second scan is of an original Cartier Shadow illustration from the collection of Dwight Fuhro. The third image is one of Edds illustrations for Poul Anderson and Gordon R. Dicksons delightful Hoka stories, and the fourth a Cartier cover painting for UNKNOWN.
