Happy morning! I have included the link below. Calling all Purnellies: You may or may not have seen various postings about the Louise B. Cohen Classroom in South Africa. Martha Cummings, a former Purnell faculty member, has created a not-for-profit organization, Universal Promise, to support education in South Africa. As part of the effort, Martha is working to raise money in memory of Louise and to name a classroom for her in a school Universal Promise is renovating. The work Martha is doing is incredible. I encourage you to consider a gift in memory of Louise to Universal Promise. Your gift will honor Louise, but as important it will provide an opportunity for young girls and boys in South Africa to establish an educational foundation and pursue a dream of autonomy.
