Hard lives and many babies often mean mothers make it for little to no prenatal care here, which meant surprise twins yesterday! So honored to have worked alongside Mercy In Actions incredible team of midwives to help bring tiny, struggling baby B safely into the world when he didnt seem too keen to make the transition. So grateful that this mother had highly trained and compassionate midwives offering free maternity care so that she did not try to birth alone in her home, where there might have been a much different outcome. And both babies nursed within the first hour!
