Hard luck to our senior team who went down by 6-4 in a ten goal thriller in Boyle in their first 2013 Super League Game. Played on a pristine pitch under floodlights it was end to end stuff. We had a nightmare start going 3-0 down in the first fifteen minutes. By half time we were 4-1 down with Andrew Patton grabbing our goal. We fought back to 4-2 and despite falling 6-2 behind fought back again to 6-4 and had some late chances to narrow the margin even more against a strong Boyle side. Andrew Patton grabbed a hat trick while our youth player Ronan Walsh got our other goal. The team displayed great resilience to battle back against a Boyle side sure to be challenging for honours again this season.
