Harry and I spent another great day with Linda and Roger. Took a road trip through a beautiful English countryside and through lovely English villages . Found ourselves in Scotland and viewing the North Sea. Took a walk along the beach and found two bottles with messages in them. Had a cappuccino at the golf club there and then made our way to the ancient and imposing Bamburgh Castle built above the grassy sand dunes of the North Sea in Northcumberland. This was a fabulous experience. Stopped for an early dinner at a pretty little beach town and had a traditional fish and chips. Oh so good!! Drove back in a rainfall that reminded me of Mississippi rains and spent a couple of relaxing hours at Linda and Rogers sipping wine and talking. Resting up for a trip to my Grandpa Pickerings hometown of Selby, England tomorrow. Life is sweet!
