Has anyone heard anything about Councilman Estaban Rangels insurance fraud, oopps! I mean car theft! The medias thunderous silence on the incident seems odd, but I suppose public figures deserve to be shielded from incriminating journalistic investigative reporting. In any event, I feei for the councilman. The one time he parks his car on the street,in stead of the parking lot of City Hall which has surveillance cameras and security, it gets stolen! Good thing he reported his keys lost to LPD the very week before it was stolen; however, to his detriment he did not get new keys and ignition.
