Has officially hit the wall with this common core and constant preparing for testing crap.. :( this is destroying our kids..a very nice parent came today with a concern for her hardworking, very sweet child.. The child is used to making straight As and now that we have made everything more rigorous and aligned to the new testing format and expectations this child is not making all as.. The child is not failing but since he has started making bs and cs in some areas he is completely stressed out..real stress people, not just saying it...all this test prep, rigor and pressure is taking its toll on our children.. This is a smart child, a good child and one who is literally praying to find a way to get his grades where he wants them.. this is a child who is trying his true best and is slowly having the life sucked out of him all for the sake of some untested, invalid state test that doesnt amount to a hill of. Beans in the grand scheme of things.. Welcome to common core..where we prep and test the life out of our kids..Im heartbroken for this kid and all of the ones who feel the same.. They deserve better people.. So much better.. soooo frustrated right now..
