Hate, hate, HATE working on the cars. Its gotta get done, though. Been trying all day long to take off ONE screw under the dash. Tempted to just rip off the blower motor housing, but if we want air conditioning, I cant do that. STILL not finished with the Volvo. Thought I was, especially after that bonehead mishap last week. Started the car, it ran like a champ, no leaks, so I let it run for a little while to make sure nothing leaks, and started doing something else with the car. I got out of the car, and lo and behold, a moderately fast oil leak. I figured that the oil return line, which had no o-ring when I took it out and then re-installed it, was leaking oil BECAUSE it had no o-ring. Soooo, they dont sell it here in El Paso, neither do they sell the gasket going from the oil return line to the turbocharger, so I had to order it. Its just as well, I have to wait for another part to fix the transmission. So, you know what Im doing next weekend. AFTER I finish with the minivans A/C. Thats one thing I hate about this schedule. I cant get to the cars until the weekend, and when I do, thats ALL I do. I thought Id enjoy learning about fixing the cars, but because theyve been so difficult, I absolutely hate it. Cest la vie. Come on, lottery!! Okay, car venting over.
