Hausa/Fulani Governors visit suspect in MKO Abiolas death, Susan Rice: While it is not a surprise, it is very disturbing that U.S. National Security Advisor Susan E. Rice invited the Northern governors to the White House. Those who are unaware of who Susan Rice is, she one of the suspects accused of being behind MKO Abiolas death. On July 7, 1998, the same day the government had announced Abiola would be released, Susan Rice and Ambassador Thomas Pickering, led a US delegation to visit the Nigerian president-elect. Abiola suffered a fatal heart attack during the meeting. The information was later leaked that Rice had served him tea during the meeting and that he developed cardiac symptoms and died within minutes of taking the tea. According to the Punch, the American delegation met him at 3 p.m.; he died between 3:20 and 3:40 p.m. after taking the tea that Rice served him. Abiolas personal physician Ore Falomo, told the Punch that although Abiola was under medical management for high blood pressure and ventricular hypertrophy, the circumstances of his death, especially its coincidence with General Abachas death a month earlier, raise enough suspicion to warrant further investigation into the possibility of poisoning. Yoruba should be very weary of this invitation of the Hausa/Fulani governors by the White House, particularly Susan Rice. This is a bad omen for the Yoruba Federation and it is best believe that this invitation under the guise of Boko Haram crisis shows that something deep is waiting to hatch. America and Britain have never supported the Yoruba’s interest. They see the Yoruba as their competitor and the Hausa/Fulani as puppet. They want Nigeria to remain a going concern but under the leadership of their stooge. There is need for the Yoruba political leaders to reach out to Russia, China and Brazil.
