Have a had a long week. My horse Bud has kept my sister Marlene C Woodard and me on our toes. He got caught on barb wire fence and cut the top part of his leg badly. With giving antibiotics in the morning, flushing out wound with hose and saline, packing cut with sugar putting salve spray on and changing bandages 2-3 times a day and moving corral panals around so he has enough to eat to dragging 300 feet of hose to water him. Oh and making sure the low dose of pain medicine is working so he is not hurting. And the running to vet for more antibiotics. Gonna be like this for awhile, but it will all be worth it when he is all healed up. Looking better every day!
