Have a look at a newly hatched chick trying to walk up a steep dune! The little chick is only hours old and gets up a bit too fast and falls over as it takes its first steps! This chick, along with its 2 other siblings all fledged from Picnic Bay at Wilsons Prom back in the 2011-2012 season. The photos are in sequence and these were taken by a remote camera, which was set up by BirdLife Australia and Deakin University for a research project into the fates of hooded plover nests. Theyre a bit blurry, but you can still see the cuteness!
