Have an idea to help women in the workforce? The Canadian Government has issued a Call for Proposals in an effort to promote economic prosperity for women. As part of our commitment to jobs, growth, and long-term prosperity, the Government of Canada recognizes that increased funding for projects that provide economic opportunities for women benefit everyone. The Government of Canada has provided more than $54 million over the last seven years to promote women’s economic security and prosperity; and this commitment continues by seeking to address the challenges women face in today’s economy, and remove barriers that prevent them from actively and fully engaging in their communities.
