Have any of you read about David Humes view on MIRACLES? If you have not, pls find a way to read about that philosophers view on religion / miracles; its a clear fits to what is happening today especially in Africa. David Hume - a former SCOTTISH CHRISTIAN cum deist / agnostic, stated firstly in the 18th Century that the miracle reporter is more often prone to reporting what did not really happen initially, she/ he over-exaggerates or MAGNIFIES the real story thereby making the miracle report/ testimony MORE miraculous than the supposed miracle that happened. Secondly, he stated that the underdeveloped or pre-scientific / pre-modern societies in Africa and Asia are very likely to experience many MIRACLES than the developed nations of Europe and North America due to the formers high-level of ignorance, superstitution, and credulous attitudes. And that is true. Why are miracles happening in poor countries like Nigeria, Kenya, the DR Congo, Tanzania, Ghana, Malawi, Burundi, Sudan; etc, than in developed countries like the USA, England, China, France, Belgium, Germany, and Russia?
