Have just seen a post about a stolen staffie. Staffies are in the top 3 breeds to be stolen in the U.K. Keep your staffie safe by never leaving them unnattended outside shops, keep an eye on them at all times when out walking, if you let them off for a run. If they are in your garden keep checking on them or stay with them. Make sure all fencing is secure. Get your staffie chipped so if they are found, they can be returned straight to you. Neutering will also help as they are often stolen to breed. With males especially this will help. If you see any marks such as arrows etc painted onto your fence/house, remove immediately. I know this all sounds like common sense but it only takes one time to take your eye off the ball. We all want safe staffies. Personally I think dog theft should carry a serious jail term (sj)
