Have we lost the plot? This system of ours is watching us and it knows us. It knows what most tend to earn, what a two income family tends to bring home and it designs an environment where it gets spent, too. In Melbourne, where I live, its like some tornado came and destroyed anything we had that was what I call...........getting free fun. We can go to a market to buy something, or a shop, or a restaurant. We can take up a sport, a costly sport, if you fancy, also. Melbourne is a great state to live, if you are a workaholic and are happy spending heaps to get more. It is very fashionable now to have a two income family, (which the designers, design around). If a one income family became fashionable, what would happen, out there? Would the money making designers design a place to suit this? I say yes, yes they would. Maybe the two income group are responsible for the environment we live in, today! Wow, what if our children grow up, cant afford rent, a home and they end up living at home for longer and wait there til their parents die and the designers see a household now has more income.............lol.
