Have you been wondering how James & Jabbie have been since their chick has been gone... ? They seem to be enjoying each others company - fishing each afternoon and foraging through the Wetlands ponds for some tasty treats. Young Master Jardine is often seen not far from them, which I have found to be very interesting behaviour. Is he still learning from his parents? Or with the absence of his sister, Jewel, and the 2013 chicks having each other, maybe he is looking for some company? What do you think? PS That feather on James, was there for weeks, sending us all mad as we wanted to remove it, but who is going to pluck a feather from a BNS? (Not me) It finally dropped off Wednesday night!
