Have you ever done this? Written code, deployed it, used it routinely for months, let it sit a while, deployed it onto a different server, and found that stopped working? And, upon further investigation, found that it never should have worked to begin with, and only did due to a happy accident? Only in Java / Groovy land, where you f%!# up and put two different versions of the same jar on your classpath, and some subtle environmental difference causes the *other* one to load when you change servers. And probably some weird implicit cast / type-conversion black-magic as well. I love Groovy, but dynamic languages can be a bear to debug.
