Have you ever held back who you are for fear of judgement? Have you ever been unsure of the words that you speak? Have you ever hid your light because you were nervous or anxious? I hid my candle – out of fear of judgment. The light still remained in my soul, but I took my eyes off of God. I placed the value of my light on women in my sight. Not trusting the one who works with all might. Not believing the one who is always right. Not letting God shine bright. But I have come to learn - God’s glory, his radiance, and his brilliance - are not dependent on the responses of others. They are always alive within me, but the question is - do I let them shine or do I contain their rays? God gave each of us unique qualities that he wants to shine forth.
