Have you ever lain in a field of grass just beside a forest in the sun underneath an ash tree and listened? All the other trees are red and yellow but this tree has dry, greyish leaves. From nowhere a breath of wind comes and teases the few leaves that are still left hanging and they start fluttering as if hysterical and then single down calmly, one by one. Have you noticed the tiny rattling noise that the falling leaf makes each time it touches another leaf on its way down?
