This year the genious invention of Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik celebrates its 70th anniversary. Imagine that it took him 30 days to solve the so-called Magic Cube! This weekend Belarus for the first time hosted the Rubik’s Cube international championship. Over 100 people from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Poland gathered in #Minsk to take part in Cubing Fest 2014. Interesting that besides solving a traditional Rubik’s Cube, the participators competed in 17 other categories, including solving a Rubik’s cube using only one hand and solving the cube with eyes closed!
