The premiss behind the PFC concept is simply to provide protein (meat from all animals killed , nothing is wasted) , school supplies, candy, sports equipment and most of all the love of The Lord Jesus Christ to the orphans and and towns people of Pomfret and Tosca South Africa. From amazing wing shooting to Bible Studies, teaching and playing with the children to bowhunting plains game , this event can and will change your life. Last year only three hunters donated 4600 lbs of meat to the community and 5 of us (2 non-hunting missionaries) donated thousands of toothbrushes, countless lbs of candy (a rare treat for the children) , soccer balls, tons of school supplies and other hard to acquire items . The price is $1800 for hunters and non-hunters ( includes accommodations, all food and drinks, daily laundry and cleaning services, transportation to and from Johannesburg(7hrs by land rover) plus to and from Pomfret and Tosca for missionaries or whoever wants to serve in any capacity. To the hunters we offer a 15% discount on all available plains game species(price list on web site) including skinning and preparation of animal for taxidermist. You will be responsible for airfare (about $1700 from Harrisburg Pa) plus your plane there if you live elsewhere like me in Texas, last year it cost me $265 from DFW to Harrisburg and back.
