In our pursuit of knowledge, We need to be mindful in applying what we learn so that this information can actually benefit us. The Sahabah (radi allaahu anhum) would take only 10 Ayahs at a time and not move on until they were able to apply them in their lives. Remember that an essential component of knowledge is always transmission; teaching people and being humble about what you know. ...May Allaah (subhaana waa taala) grant us beneficial knowledge and help us in applying it. And may Allaah protect us from knowledge which does not benefit us.
