Have you noticed that the victims of this horrendous crime are all 6 yrs and under? A tender age when kids dont know when they are danger of this kind, and even if they do, they may not be able to express it or avoid it. As a preschool, I genuinely ask parents, why are you in such a hurry to admit your little girls to big schools?? I urge you, keep them in a preschool setup until UKG... Why, you may ask? Preschools are better for kids simply because: 1. Most important of all - Preschools have an ALL-women staff (Except the security guard outside who is not allowed inside the building, all staff is female). Big schools have male staff/housekeeping who have access to your little ones! 2. Very short or negligible driving distance (Apart from the fact that most kids are dropped by parents themselves). Long bus drives to far away big schools increase the danger for our little ones! 3. Small number of kids on campus (not more than 100): Small number of parents leads to a close one-on-one relationship of the Center Head and teachers with each parent. Big schools have 500 - 4000 kids on campus! 4. Small campuses with very high ratio of staff per kid. Big schools are unable to maintain any kind of good ratios that ensure that someone is watching your child all the time! 5. Good preschools have had CCTV cameras installed many years before all this was even a problem. And in a small campus, there are no hiding places that are not accessed regularly.
