Having a hard time focusing today (ok, ok, I can hear you all thinking Today? Its different from other days how?. Youre my friends -hush up and just love me- got it!?). Today is a gorgeous, blustery example of Fall. Cozy wood burning fireplace, hot cup of tea (my comfort beverage, as opposed to my have coffee/enjoy the world one), keeping David on track with schoolwork...nice day...not the kind of day to be all reflective and melancholy. However, memories keep drifting in and out of my thoughts so quickly and unexpectedly; theyre like glimpses of my life, here and gone before I can see them clearly. What Im left with today is the emptiness of missing people who were once very dear and are no longer in my life. I know, the holidays are coming...Im not the only one who feels this way....doesnt help much. Hey, just got an idea!! I m leaving soon to get Holly from my moms.
