Having a lovely time in Shark Bay, even tho the weather is a tad brisk! Went out to the Ocean Aquarium yesterday and all the little bays on the way back into town. Like Kalbarri, things are pretty quiet. Today we took a picnic lunch to Cape Peron and surrounds. What wild country this is. Stopped at the old sheep station and took some pics (really?)let the tyres down for the trip up to the Cape. Took us over an hour to drive 55kms, sandy boggy road conditions. Highlight was a colony of cormorants on the beach, saw a coule of turtles also. The colours are unbelievable, ochre red, green and blue skis. Wonderful for me. Will be home next Thursday. to cold and I hope rainy weather.,
