Having witnessed the tremendous fortitude of will demonstrated by the New York marathoners, and having exercised a bit of my own in the form of restraining myself from yelling at one of the many cheering/jeering/heckling on-lookers--seriously runners, how do you not stop in your tracks to slap a fat lady in lulu lemon screaming dig deep! like youre her personal horse in the race?--I returned home, feeling a little under the weather and nursing a damaged ankle--when am I not recuperating form something?-- and felt a little underwhelmed. Yes, I successfully did not slap the hot dog out of the cheering fans hands, but I felt like I could have done more today. So I grabbed my sheers a cut a good 4 inches off my hair. Feeling calmed and satisfied. Its not running 26.2 miles, but theres always next year
