Having years in my background in advertising, I think Sketchers has made one of the ballsiest moves in product/advertising that I have seen in a long time. Sketchers line Bobs. Buy a pair of Bobs, a under-privilege child gets a pair. Straight rip form Toms. Thats what Toms started and does. That and Sketchers even copied the style and incorporated others. Im not defending or plying for Toms. They can defend themselves. Just quite interesting how Sketchers leveraged their market share to bully into this humanitarian form of marketing.
