This multibillion dollar redevelopment will shape the future of the country and will include the merging of two separate sites and development of the surrounding green field land. In this role you will serve as the primary change management liaison to Auckland Airport stakeholders throughout the Building Information Model (BIM) implementation process. With this in mind the role will require you to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a cohesive framework is established and maintained to manage the receipt, storage, accessibility and use of Project and Asset Information within the BIM and GIS systems To succeed in this role you will have the ability to facilitate a vision and strategy for the immediate and long-term future of BIMs within the Auckland Airport as you will be responsible for leading the company towards the goal of complete BIM implementation. To achieve this you will need to be able to use your previous experience managing teams of both internal staff and external contractors and consultants. With your strong communication skills you will be responsible for ensuring project teams on the capital works projects understand and appreciate the impact of BIMs on their projects. To facilitate this you will implement a BIM common data environment for the collaborative sharing of all project information You will have a qualification in Architecture, Engineering or Construction with a Project Management qualification being desirable. Along with this you will have proven experience in the production of the coordinated design of BIMs is crucial. The models will need to have a full 6D approach so experience in a similar environment would be ideal as would a specific focus on As Constructed BIMs. With your commercial focus you will be continually seeking to improve methods and procedures and ensure that all business decisions made contribute towards the overall BIM projects strategic objectives.
