As Windows Server Support Lead, you will be responsible for * Providing operational support for the EMEA Windows Server and ESX footprint. * Resolution and coordination of BAU incidents that require service restoration or technical support. * Contributing to Problem Management processes and ensuring assigned corrective actions are managed and resolved within agreed timescales * Building and maintaining strong relationships within Technology Infrastructure and application support teams * Participating in incident review meetings and identifying any improvements required to ensure continuous service improvement The successful Windows Server Support lead will possess gravitas and credibility within the Windows arena, in addition to:- * Experience in a large corporate environment * Strong organizational and planning skills * Strong Windows 2003/2008/2012 core technical skills in a 1000+ server environment * Good Microsoft Clustering knowledge * Good understanding of Windows core performance monitoring and troubleshooting * Good understanding of TCP/IP stack and protocol analysis desirable * Strong ESX and VMWare skills * PowerShell and VB scripting experience desirable * MCSE/MCITP qualified * SAN attached storage configuration and troubleshooting, ideally EMC To discuss this further in confidence, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0161 870 8181.
